MISSION
The mission of the Columbus Legends is to provide Christ-centered competitive athletic experiences to homeschool students in Central Ohio.
Our Story
How did we get here?
Founded in 2024, the Columbus Legends is part of the Central Ohio Homeschool Athletics, a non-profit association committed to providing a competitive Christ-centered athletics experience to homeschool students.
A survey administered in February 2024 identified that a majority (56%) of respondents disagreed with the statement “I feel there are adequate options for my middle/high school homeschool student (current or future) to participate in athletics.”
In response to this need, the Columbus Legends is starting with one more more boys basketball teams in 2024-2025 and will expand to other ages and sports based on interest and volunteers available.

Who are we
Meet Our Board
The Board of Trustees is made up of volunteers responsible for the vision and financial stewardship of the organization. The board adheres to a Code of Regulations and Conflict of Interest Policy.
